Welcome to Casita 3 at Blue Tongue Berries. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or require help with anything. Please ensure you thoroughly read our farmstay rules and related information below before your arrival. We hope you enjoy your visit to our beautiful region.

Please note our property is totally Off-Grid, with no connections to mains power, water or gas. Our power is captured from solar and wind and then stored in batteries. All water is from rainfall and stored in tanks. As our resources are limited, please be conservative with power, water and gas usage during your stay. Drinking water is only available from indoor taps. If you need a steam iron, there’s one located in the laundry.
NBN Wifi is available in all buildings and across most of the property. The Guest Wifi password is “blueberry”. Video can be streamed via Chromecast to Casita 3's TV. Music can be played on Casita 3’s Echo speaker via bluetooth or just say “Alexa play music”.
As we are off-grid, the air conditioner is set to automatic and will only operate when there is enough solar power available. Message us if you would like the air conditioner turned off. Please use ceiling fans as needed outside of this time. We also recommend closing all windows and blinds during hot days and opening them at night as there is a cool breeze most evenings.
Please carefully read the wood heater instructions before attempting to start a fire. Never leave electric blankets on while you are out or sleeping.
All toilets are connected to a septic tank, please do not flush sanitary items, nappies or flushable wipes. Use paper provided to wrap your sanitary items and place in the bin.
Please report any damage or other issues during your stay to us before your departure.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
If you require an extra bed to be made up in your farmstay, other than the queen size bed, please request it at least 24 hours before your arrival.
Guest numbers above two incurs an extra charge.
Our fresh blueberry season is during summer.
Breakfast is optional and charged as per the breakfast menu.
There's no smoking permitted inside buildings.
Parties and events are not permitted.
Unsealed driveways are used to access to the property.
We don't accommodate pets.
Blue Tongue Berries contains a total of five farmstays on the property, and the hosts live on site.
There are no cameras located in private spaces of the guest accommodation. As a business however we have several security cameras located in the liquor license zone and other public spaces which includes the cantina, hacienda lounge, studio, shed, parking, courtyard, garden, and blueberry orchard.
Our on-farm private cafe, the Cantina offers breakfast all year round exclusively to our accommodation guests. Here's the Menu. Breakfast is served in the Cantina between 8:30am and 10:30am and needs to be pre-ordered. The cut-off time to place your order is by 7pm the night before. Please text your order to 0438 320 049 and include a breakfast time and your room number. Our Cantina is also fully licensed if you would like to purchase drinks during your stay.

SELF CHECK IN: To find Casita 3 please go to our main gate at 445 Northwood Road Seymour. We are the last gate on the left just before the freeway overpass. Look out for the Blue Tongue Berries sign.
When you arrive park your car in the parking bay. Look for the steps and the Casita sign on the left side of the parking bay. Follow the steps all the way down until you reach the Casita (crimson cedar building) then turn left. You'll see a door with a number 3 on it. That's Casita 3 and it will be unlocked.
